I am in the Halloween spirit indeed! Here is another one from “The Museum of the Mad…” One of my personal favorites from the series to be honest. Sir Gustav Von Cancertonus. He suffers from a mental disorder in which he feels he was born with inadequate lower limbs. He has disassociated feelings towards humans and feels closer alongside the crustacean family. He underwent an unorthodox procedure to correct his perceived shortcomings.

Well, I am still sketching dinosaurs it looks like. Considering that I title these posts “Dinosaur Field Studies”, I hope someday that I apply this “anatomical knowledge” to something productive!

Sometimes, it is just fun and relaxing to draw from life. There are times that I will be in the mood to sketch but not have the creative energy to design something original. Dinosaurs are always a great subject to study.

This one was a ton of fun to make! I was going for a “skull and crossbones” for the state of Texas. I included ton of detail and texture in this one. The final print size is 24″ x 24″.
